INSTRUCTIONS
1. Open the cover of the battery case at the bottom of the lid, and then put in 3pcs batteries
‘’AA(LR6)’’ according to the size and mark of positive/negative pole, then return the battery
cover.
2. Put the garbage bag inside the bin, and then place the plastic/metal ring on/inside the bin to
hold the garbage bag in place.
3. Set the lid on the bin, turn on the power switch at the bottom of the lid, the red indicator light
will be on for 2 seconds, it will then flash once every 4 seconds which shows the electric
system is working normally.
4. When throwing rubbish into the bin, just keep your hand/object about 5-15cm front the
inductive window, the lid will open automatically within 0.5 seconds; it will close
automatically within 5-6 seconds after your hand/object move away.
Keeping your hand/object in front of the sensor area will keep it open.
5. 1) The indicator light flashes red (every 4 seconds) to show it is on.
2) When the lid opens, the indicator light shows green.
3) When the lid closes, the indicator light shows red.
6. Normal batteries can last about 3-6 months supposing the dustbin opens and closes 20
times one day. High-alkaline batteries can even last up to 1 year.
Attention
7. Don’t wash the bin lid with liquids because it contains the electronic components inside but
you can clean it outside with a damp cloth.
8. Don’t press the lid of the dustbin when it is opening.
9. When the batteries run out of power, please remove the battery in quick time to stop the
battery causing any damage to the unit.
10. Avoid direct sunlight to the front inductive window as this can interfere with or even damage
the circuit board of sensor.
