Be sure the controls are turned to OFF and the surface units are cool before attempting to remove them.

inthe pan linesup with the receptacle.

throughthe openinginthe drip pan and
into the receptacle.

Drip Pans
Removethe surfaceunits.Thenlift out the drip
pans.
Forbestresults,cleanthe drippansbUhand.
Placethem in a coveredcontainer(ora plastic
bag)with Y4cupammoniato loosenthe soil.
Rinsewithcleanwaterand polishwith a clean
soft cloth.
Thedrip pansmau alsobecleanedin a
dishwasher.
Cleantheareaunderthe drip pansoften.
Built-upsoil,especiallugrease,mau catchfire.
Donotcoverthedrippanswith foil. Usingfoil
so closeto thereceptaclecouldcauseshock,
fireor damageto therange.
NOTE:If goutcooktopisequippedwith shing,
silver-coloreddrippans,donot cleanthem
in theself-cleaningoven.Permanentdamage
to thefinishcon occur.
Ifgout cooktopis equippedwith blackor grog
porcelain-coateddrippans,the£canbecleaned
in theovenduringtheself-cleaningcgcle.Before
goubeginaself-cleaningcgcte,removeang
heaW soilfromthe drippansandplacethem
on theporcelain-coatedovenrocks.Donotplace
the drippansdirectlgontheovenbottom.After
theself-cleaningcgcleis completedand thedrip
pansarecool,wipethemwitha dampclothto
removeangremainingashor residue.
Besure all surfaceunits are turned off
before raising the cool<top.

Lift-Up Cooktop
Theentirecooktopmagbeliftedupand
supportedinthe up positionforeasiercleaning.
Thesurfaceunitsdonot needto be removed;
however,you mayremoveoneto makeraising
the cooktopeasier.Therearetwo sidesupports
that lockintopositionwhenthe cooktopis
liftedup.
Aftercleaningunderthe cooktopwithhot,
mildsoapy water and a cleancloth,lowerthe
cooktop.Becarefulnotto pinchyourfingers.
Tolowerthe cooktop,pushthe rodsbackand
gentlUlowerthe cooktopuntilit restsin place.
