Hold the garden hoe with one hand on the rear handle
and one hand on the front handle.
Always keep a firm grip with both hands while in
operation.
WARNING:
Always keep both hands on the garden hoe handles.
Improper operation of the garden hoe may result in seri-
ous injury.
Garden hoe should be held at a comfortable position.
Make sure the work area is clean and free of obstructions.
Slide the ON/OFF switch to the ON position to begin
blade oscillation.
Lower the blade to the ground.
NOTE: Do not force the tool into the ground. The tool is
design for shallow cultivation.
Pull the unit backward to break up soil without forcing or
putting pressure onto the tool.
NOTE: Move slowly when learning to use the unit and
when cultivating hard, rough, or uneven ground.
NOTE: If the garden hoe begins to vibrate abnormally or
becomes noisy, the motor is being overloaded. Stop the
tool and lift the blade from the ground before recultivatat-
ing at a more shallow depth.
If the soil is very hard, water a few days before cultivating.
The tool will move through the soil more easily.
Avoid working the soil when soggy or wet. Wait a day or
two after heavy rain for the ground to dry.
