INSTRUCTIONS
REMOVING THE BLADE SET
1. Make sure the trimmer is in
the OFF position.
2. Place your thumb against the
smaller cutter and push up to
remove the blade set.
REPLACING THE BLADE SET
1. Make sure the trimmer is in
the OFF position.
2. Align the back prong of the trimmer blade with
the guide slot on the trimmer housing, place your
thumb on top of the blade and snap into place.
OILING THE BLADES (OIL INCLUDED)
1. Oil the trimmer once a month.
2. Turn the trimmer on.
3. Hold and point the blades downward.
4. Spread one drop of oil across the blades
5. Turn the trimmer off and wipe away any
excess oil.
NOTE:
1. Do not over-oil the blades, as this can damage
the motor.
2. Do not oil the motor bearing, as it is
permanently lubricated.
3. KEEP OIL AWAY FROM CHILDREN.
BLADE CARE
1. Brush away any loose hair that collects in
the blades.
2. Store the trimmer in a safe location.
3. Sharpen or replace both blades at the same
time when servicing your trimmer.
4. Only use Conair
®
blades with this trimmer
(see Parts and Accessories form).
5. Use trimmer for facial hair only.
OUTLINING YOUR BEARD
1. Start with a clean, slightly
damp beard (NOT WET).
2. Comb through your beard in
the direction it grows naturally.
3. Begin under your jawline.
4. Trim from your chin upward, toward your ears.
5. Finish upper outline across cheeks.
TRIMMING YOUR BEARD
1. On the longest setting,
begin trimming your
beard using smooth,
even strokes. Start with
your sideburns and work
downward toward your chin. (Never attempt to
trim against the natural growth of your beard
because the hair will be cut too short.)
2. If you decide you want a
closer trim, adjust the 5-position
comb attachment to a shorter
setting and go over your beard
until you achieve the desired
length.
BLENDING THE JAWLINE
Attach a jawline comb to the trimmer, hold the
trimmer in an upright position and begin trimming
under your jawline, using short, even strokes.

TRIMMER OPERATING

TROUBLESHOOTING
If your rechargeable trimmer does not seem
to be taking a charge, take the following
troubleshooting steps before returning it for
repair:
1. Be sure the electrical outlet is working by
plugging in another appliance to test the outlet.
2. Make sure the electrical plug is not connected
to a switch that turns power off when lights are
turned off.
3. Make sure the adapter is inserted into the
trimmer properly and all the connections are
secure.
OPERATING
INSTRUCTIONS
CHARGING
1. Before using the trimmer for the first time,
charge continuously for 5 hours. Maximum
battery capacity will be reached only after 3
charging and discharging cycles.
2. To charge the trimmer, first ensure the trimmer
is switched off, then insert the small plug on the
charging adapter into the hole on the bottom of
the trimmer. Plug the adapter into any wall outlet
(at the voltage listed on the label affixed to the
adapter). Unplug adapter when not in use.
3. The adapter may become warm while charging,
this is normal.
4. The blue charging LED indicator light around
ON/OFF switch on the trimmer will flash when
correctly connected. When it is fully charged, the
blue charging LED indicator light will stay blue
and stop flashing.
5. A full charge will supply 4 hours of cordless
runtime. A quick charge of 20 minutes provides
10 minutes of cordless runtime.
6. When the trimmer is running low on a charge,
the LED indicator light will flash, warning you that
there is approximately 3 minutes of battery use
remaining.
7. To maintain optimum capacity of the
rechargeable battery, it is highly recommended to
fully discharge and then recharge the trimmer for
5 hours every 6 months.
8. When charging, the unit can’t operate.
WARNING: If the charging light suddenly starts
to flash rapidly, the appliance is faulty. If this
happens, please stop charging and remove the
adapter from the outlet and contact our customer
care center for further advice.
TRAVEL LOCK
To prevent the appliance from switching on
unintentionally, you can lock the ON/OFF button.
Press and hold down the ON/OFF switch for 2
seconds and the unit will then be locked. If the
ON/OFF button is pressed now, the LED light will
flash for 3 seconds, but the appliance however,
does not switch on. If you want to unlock your
appliance, press and hold down the ON/OFF
button for 2 seconds. The appliance will then
unlock and start to work normally.
TRIMMER CHARGING
PRECAUTIONS
• Avoid charging the battery at temperatures
below 41°F (5°C) or above 95°F (35°C).
• Avoid charging the battery in direct sunlight or
near a radiating heat source.
• Even though the trimmer may not be used for
an extended period of time, charge once a month
to preserve battery life.
• The power cord cannot be replaced. If it is
damaged, the DC adapter should be discarded.
CORDLESS OPERATION
• Insert the adapter into the base of the
appliance, plug into a suitable outlet and switch
off. The blue LED light will appear when the
adapter is correctly inserted into the appliance
and connected to the outlet.
• When charging the appliance with the adapter,
switch the trimmer on and, if it still does not
work, then keep charging.
• Once the appliance is fully charged, the blue
LED light will stop flashing, but remain on. Unplug
the adapter from the outlet, then the appliance,
and prepare for use.
TRIMMING YOUR MUSTACHE
1. Start with a clean,
slightly damp mustache
(NOT WET).
2. Comb through your
mustache in the direction
it grows.
3. Trim your mustache from the top down; finish
by outlining the bottom of your mustache.
4. Start with the 5-position attachment comb on
the longest setting, as you can always go back
and shorten the length as desired.
5. Use the detailing blade for final touches and
facial sculpting.
ROTARY NOSE & EAR TRIMMER
1. Make sure the trimmer is in the OFF position.
2. Insert the pin of the trimmer
body into the hexagonal hole
of the trimmer head as shown
(Fig. 1).
3. Press and snap the trimmer
head onto the body as shown
(Fig. 2).
4. Use trimmer in a circular
motion.
5. To detach the nose and
ear trimmer: Hold the trimmer
as shown (Fig. 3), with the
thumb pressing the top, front
part of the trimmer head, and
snap it off.

DE OPERACIÓN
INSTRUCCIONES DE CARGA
1. Cargue el aparato continuamente por 5 horas
antes del primer uso. La batería recargable
alcanzará su capacidad máxima después de 3
ciclos de carga/descarga.
2. Cerciórese de que el botón de encendido/
apagado está en la posición de apagado e
introduzca el enchufe pequeño del adaptador
de carga en el agujero en la parte de abajo de
la unidad. Enchufe el adaptador (compruebe el
voltaje indicado en la etiqueta del adaptador antes
de conectarlo a la toma de corriente). Desenchufe
el adaptador cuando no esté en uso.
3. Puede que el adaptador se ponga caliente
durante la carga; esto es normal.
4. Durante la carga, el indicador luminoso LED
azul alrededor del botón de encendido/apagado
parpadeará, lo que indica que el aparato está
debidamente conectado y está cargando. Una vez
cargada la batería, el indicador luminoso LED azul
permanecerá encendido sin parpadear.
5. Una carga completa proporcionará una
autonomía de aprox. 4 horas. Una carga rápida
de 20 minutos proporcionará una autonomía de
aprox. 10 minutos.
6. Si el indicador LED empieza a parpadear
durante el uso, esto indica que la batería está baja
y que queda solo aprox. 3 minutos de uso.
7. Para conservar la energía de las baterías
recargables, le recomendamos que cargue el
aparato por 5 horas cada 6 meses.
8. La unidad no podrá encenderse mientras se
está cargando.
ADVERTENCIA: si de repente la luz de carga
empieza a parpadear rápidamente, esto significa
que el aparato está defectuoso. En caso de que
esto suceda, desenchufe el adaptador de la toma
de corriente y llame a nuestro servicio postventa
para más información.
FUNCIÓN DE BLOQUEO DE
SEGURIDAD
Puede bloquear el botón de encendido/apagado
para evitar encender el aparato sin querer,
p. ej., cuando viaja. Para bloquear el botón de
encendido/apagado, manténgalo oprimido por 2
segundos. Nota: si oprime el botón de encendido/
apagado después de bloquearlo, el indicador
LED parpadeará por 3 segundos, pero el aparato
no se encenderá. Para desbloquear el botón de
encendido/apagado, manténgalo oprimido por 2
segundos; la función de bloqueo de seguridad se
desactivará y podrá usar la unidad normalmente.
PRECAUCIONES DE CARGA
• Evite cargar el aparato en temperaturas
inferiores a 41°F (5°C) o superiores a 95 °F
(35 °C).
• Evite cargar el aparato en la luz directa del sol o
cerca de una fuente de calor.
• Le aconsejamos que cargue el aparato una
vez al mes, aunque no tenga previsto usarlo;
esto ayudará a preservar la vida de la batería
recargable.
• El cable de alimentación no puede ser
reemplazado. Si está dañado, tire el adaptador.
OPERACIÓN INALÁMBRICA
• Conecte el cable a la base del aparato y luego
enchufe el adaptador en una toma de corriente. La
luz LED azul empezará a parpadear, lo que indica
que el aparato está debidamente conectado y se
está cargando.
• Para comprobar si el aparato está cargado,
enciéndalo. Si no funciona, continúe cargando.
• Una vez cargada la batería, la luz LED
azul permanecerá encendida sin parpadear.
Desenchufe el adaptador de la toma de corriente,
y luego desenchúfelo de la unidad. El aparato está
listo para usarse.
CÓMO CORTAR EL BIGOTE
1. El bigote debe estar limpio
y ligeramente humedecido,
NO MOJADO.
2. Peine el bigote en
dirección del crecimiento
natural del pelo.
3. Corte el bigote desde arriba hasta abajo y luego,
dé forma a la parte inferior del bigote.
4. Siempre empiece con el ajuste de longitud de
corte más largo; siempre puede volver a acortar el
pelo usando un ajuste más corto.
5. Para el acabado y los cortes de precisión, use la
cuchilla de acabado.
RECORTADOR PARA NARIZ/
OREJAS
1. Cerciórese de que el aparato
está apagado (“OFF”).
2. Haga coincidir el árbol del
motor de la cortadora con
el orificio hexagonal en el
recortador para nariz/orejas
(Fig. 1).
3. Presione el recortador para
fijarlo (Fig. 2).
4. Mueva el recortador en forma
circular.
5. Para sacar el recortador para
nariz/orejas: sostenga el aparato
según se indica (Fig. 3), con
el pulgar presionando la parte
superior delantera del cabezal, y
empuje hasta que el cabezal se desprenda.
