OPERATION
APPLICATIONS
You may use this product for the purposes listed below:
Light-duty vacuuming of dry surfaces
Household type
STARTING/STOPPING THE VACUUM
See Figure 4, page 8.
Plug the vacuum into an AC power supply.
To start the vacuum:
press the ON/OFF button once
for HIGH speed. Press the ON/OFF button again for
LOW speed
.
To stop the vacuum:
press the ON/OFF button a third
time
.
TURNING OFF THE ROLLER BRUSH
See Figure 4, page 8.
The roller bar can be used with the roller brush turned off.
To cancel the roller brush:
Press the brush rotation button, located behind the ON/
OFF button to cancel the use of the roller brush.
To reactivate the roller brush:
Press the brush rotation button again to turn the roller
brush back on.
NOTE: If vacuum is turned off while the roller brush is off,
when the vacuum is turned back on, the roller brush will
default to the ON setting.
ATTACHING AND REMOVING ACCESSORY
TOOLS
See Figure 5, page 8.
The extension wand and accessory tools can be used
together or separately for a variety of cleaning tasks.
Unplug the vacuum.
Remove the handle from the extension wand or pull
the handle and extension wand up and away from the
vacuum.
Insert the accessory tool into the opening on the handle
or the extension wand.
Press together until it fits securely.
To remove accessory tools:
Unplug the vacuum.
Pull the accessory tool away from the handle or extension
wand.
USING THE VACUUM
See Figures 5 - 7, page 8.
Roll the vacuum to the item or surface you want to clean.
To vacuum with an accessory tool:
Remove the handle from the extension wand or pull
the handle and extension wand up and away from the
vacuum.
Attach the desired accessory tool.
Plug the vacuum into an AC power supply.
Start the unit and begin vacuuming.
When vacuuming is complete, stop the unit, disconnect
it from the power source, and wrap the cord around the
retainer.
To vacuum with the roller bar:
Insert the handle and extension wand into the vacuum.
Plug the vacuum into an AC power supply.
Start the unit and begin vacuuming.
NOTE: When vacuuming hard floors, it is recommended
that you turn the roller brush off. Turn the roller brush on
when vacuuming carpets.
If necessary, step on the back of the roller bar and tilt or
swivel the vacuum to avoid obstacles.
When vacuuming is complete, stop the unit, disconnect
it from the power source, and wrap the cord around the
retainer.
EMPTYING/REMOVING/REATTACHING THE
DIRT CUP
See Figures 8 - 9, page 9.
The dirt cup should be checked, emptied, and cleaned
periodically for maximum dust collection.
To empty:
฀฀Unplug the vacuum.
Press the dirt cup release button and pull the dirt cup
away from the vacuum.
Hold dirt cup over waste receptacle.
Press lock button on bottom of dirt cup to release spring
loaded door.
Shake lightly or tap sides to dislodge debris.
Close door, pressing firmly until lock button engages.
To reattach:
Position the dirt cup and vacuum as shown.
Lower the bottom of the dirt cup onto the vacuum at an
angle and then push the top of the dirt cup toward the
vacuum until the release button clicks into place.
