GENERAL RECOMMENDATIONS
The warranty on this tractor does not cover
items that have been subjected to operator
abuse or negligence. To receive full value
from the warranty, operator must maintain Zerk
tractor as instructedin this manual,
Some adjustments will need to be made pe-
riodically to properly maintain your tractor, Wheel
At [east once a season, check to see if Bearing
you should make any of the adjustments Zerk

• At least once a year you should replace Gear
and check blades and belts for wear. A
new spark plug and clean air filter assure
proper air-fuel mixture and help your en-
gine run better and last longer.

(_General Purpose Grease
@Refer to Maintenance "ENGINE" Section
IMPORTANT: Do not oil or grease the pivot
points which have special nylon bearings.
Viscous lubricantswill attract dust and dirt
that witl shorten the lifeof the self-lubricating
bearings. Ifyou feelthey must be lubricated,
use only a dry, powdered graphite type lu-
bricant sparingly.
