Check Harness
Strap Position
The harness strap MUST
be
at or slightly below the
shoulders; never above.
Check Buckle Position
• Use the slot closest to your child.
• The buckle should not be
underneath or behind your child.

Check Head Position
The top of your child’s
head must be at least
1 in. (2.5 cm) below
the top of the car
seat’s headrest.

release lever (through the
opening in the pad) while
pulling out on the harness
straps as shown.
