• Do not leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use
and before servicing.

Close supervision is necessary when used near children. To avoid injury or damage, keep
children away from product, and do not allow children to place fingers or other objects

• Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended attach
ments.
• Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should,
has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, take it to a
service center prior to continuing use.
• Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
• Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull
cord around sharp edges or corners. Do not place product on cord. Do not run
appliance over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Do not put any object into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep
free of dust, lint, hair and anything that may reduce air flow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, fingers, and all parts of body away from openings and moving
parts.
• Turn off all controls before unplugging.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs. To avoid personal injury or damage,
and to prevent cleaning from falling, always place cleaner at bottom of stairs
or on floor. Do not place cleaner on stairs or furniture, as it may result in injury
or damage.
• Do not use the vacuum cleaner without dirt container and/or filter in place.
• Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or
fine wood sandings or use in areas where they may be present.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches or
hot ashes.

• Ne laissez pas l’appareil sans surveillance quand il est branché. Débranchez-le

• Ne pas permettre que cet appareil soit utilisé comme un jouet. Ce produit n’est pas conçu
pour être utilisé par des enfants de 12 ans et moins. Exercer une étroite surveillance
lorsque l’appareil est utilisé à proximité d’enfants. Pour éviter les risques de blessures ou
de dommages, garder le produit hors de la portée des enfants, et ne pas leur permettre
de placer leurs doigts ou des objets dans les ouvertures.
• Utiliser l’appareil en respectant les consignes inscrites dans le présent manuel.
N’utiliser que les accessoires recommandés par le fabricant.
• N’utilisez pas l’appareil si la fiche ou le cordon est endommagé. Si l’aspirateur
ne fonctionne pas comme prévu, s’il est tombé, s’il a été endommagé, laissé à
l’extérieur ou s’il est tombé dans l’eau, expédiez-le à un centre de réparation
pour qu’il soit vérifié. Appelez le 1-800-321-1134 pour savoir quel est le centre
de réparation le plus proche.
• Ne manipulez pas la fiche ou l’appareil avec les mains mouillées.
• Ne pas tirer ou transporter l’appareil par le cordon, ne pas se servir du cor
don comme poignée, ne pas coincer le cordon dans une porte et ne pas con
tourner des coins ou des rebords tranchants avec le cordon. Éviter de déposer
ou d faire rouler l’appareil sur le cordon. Tenir le cordon éloigné des surfaces
chaudes.
• Ne débranchez pas l’appareil en tirant sur le cordon. Pour débrancher
l’appareil, tirez sur la fiche, et non sur le cordon.
• N’insérez pas d’objets dans les ouvertures. N’utilisez pas l’appareil si ses orific
es sont obstrués; enlevez de ces dernières la poussière, les peluches, les chev
