Auger Belt Replacement

To removeand replaceyoursnowthrower'saugerbelt,

proceedas follows:

1, Removethe plasticbelt coveronthe frontof the

engineby removingthe twoself-tappingscrews,

NOTE:Drainthe gasolinefromthe snowthrower,or

placea pieceof plasticunderthe gas cap,

2, Carefullypivotthe snowthrowerup andforwardso

thatit restsonthe augerhousing,Removethe frame

coverfromthe undersideof the snow throwerby

removingfourself=tappingscrewswhichsecureit,

3, Rollthe augerbeltoff the enginepulley,

4, a, Loosenandremovethe shoulderscrewwhich

actsas a belt keeper,

b, Unhookthe supportbracketspringfromthe

frame,

5, Removethe belt fromaroundthe augerpulley,and

slip the beltbetweenthesupportbracketand the

augerpulley,Reassembbaugerbeltby following

instructionsinreverseorder,

NOTE:Do NOTforgetto reinstallthe shoulderscrew

andreconnectthespringto the frameafter installinga

replacementaugerbelt,
