On modelsequippedwitha greasefitting, usea grease
gunto lubrbatethe auger gear case,
NOTE: Donot overfillthe gearcase, Damageto the
sealscould resuL Besurethe ventplugis freeof
greaseinorder to relievepressure,
Shave P_ate and Skid Shoes
The shaveplateandskid shoeson the bottomof the
snowthroweraresubiectto wear,Theyshouldbe
checkedperiodicallyandreplacedwhennecessary,
To removeskidshoes:
1, Removethefour carriageboltsandhexflangenuts
whichsecurethemto the snowthrower,
2, Reassemblenewskidshoeswiththefour carriage
bolts(two oneach side)andhexflangenuts, Refer
