Roku wireless speakers
TV models that support wireless surround sound can function with left and right front
speakers in a 2.0 configuration or both right and left front and rear speakers in a 4.0
configuration. Add a Roku Wireless Subwoofer to create a 2.1 or 4.1 surround
configuration.
Note: Certain TVs support Dolby
Atmos
®
audio technology. However, wireless
surround speaker configurations do not support Atmos. When you are playing Atmos
content from a TV that supports Atmos through wireless surround speakers, the TV
instead applies Dolby Digital sound technology.
Setting up Roku wireless speakers
To begin pairing a set of wireless speakers:
1. Make sure the speakers are plugged in and your TV is turned on.
2. Hold down HOME on your TV remote for five seconds until the Select all
devices to set up screen appears.
3. Select the appropriate item to set up: Wireless speakers, Wireless soundbar, or
Subwoofer.
4. Select Continue, and then follow the instructions on the screen to complete the
pairing process.
For more information, including details about how best to arrange your speakers in
your room, see the Roku support article How to set up your Roku wireless speakers.
Checking Roku Soundbar or Roku Speaker software version
If you are having issues with your Roku audio devices, your Roku support technician
might ask you to provide the software version of a particular device.
To determine the software version of a Roku audio device that is connected to or
paired with your TV:
1. From the Home Screen Menu, navigate to Settings > Remotes & devices.
2. Select Speakers.
