ELECTRIC PRESSURE COOKER WORKING PRINCIPLE
Pressure cooking is cooking in a sealed vessel that does not permit steam to escape below a preset pressure.
The boiling point of water is increased when pressure increases, this pressure build-up in the cooker allows the
liquid inside to rise to a higher temperature before boiling.
The heating process is controlled by a built-in micro-processor based on the readings of the pressure and
temperature sensors. This process forms what is called “closed loop control system”. The user simply sets the
cooking duration and the electric pressure cooker does the rest.
