Many malfunctions and minor faults that can occur in daily operation can be
corrected without contacting Miele. This will save you time and money because
you will not need a service call.
You can find information on how to remedy faults yourself at www.miele.com/
service.
Please note, however, that a call-out charge will be applied to unnecessary service
visits where the problem could have been rectified as described in these operating
instructions.
Messages in the display
Problem Possible cause and remedy
F10 The suction hose in the water container is not
inserted correctly, or is not vertical.
Correct the position of the suction hose:

F20
Internal drainage fault.
Descale the steam oven (see “Cleaning and care -
Maintenance”).
If the fault message appears again, contact Miele.
F44 There is a fault.
Switch the steam oven off and then back on again
after a few minutes.
If the same message appears again, contact Miele.
F55 The maximum length of time for which the steam
oven can be operated on a function has been
exceeded, so the appliance has switched itself off
automatically for safety reasons.
Switch the steam oven off and then back on again.
The steam oven is immediately ready for use again.
