Parameter Description
Energy Threshold
Filters the targets with low temperature. The larger the value is, the
harder the alarm will be triggered.
Step 4 Set alarm linkage actions. For details, see "5.1.1 Alarm Linkage".
Step 5 Click
Save
.
5.7.5 Configuring Pan
Enable pan, the Camera can realize continuous 360° horizontal rotation at a certain speed.
The interval between pan circles should not be lower than the default value. High PTZ speed
might cause missing alarm (see the table below for PTZ speed and time). The coverage area is
area that the thermal channel covers. The recommended speeds offer reference for heat
detection only; for smoke detection, make sure that the picture is not blurred during pan.
Table 5-13 PTZ speed and time
Device PTZ speed Time
Hybrid speed dome camera,
mobile hybrid PTZ camera,
multi-spectral PTZ camera
20 3'45"
30 (recommended) 2'30"
40 1'52"
Heavy PTZ camera
8 4'
10 (recommended) 2'25"
12 1'40"
If you do not set limits, the PTZ can continuously pan 360°. We recommend you use 360°
horizontal scanning for the forest fire prevention project. Multiple 360° pan circles can be set to
cover the area to be detected.
Set the left and right limits, and the PTZ pans between the limits.
Set the scanning area, the PTZ does progressive scanning in the configured area.
