- TALR (L4) mode is automatically deactivated after it lasts for the received duration
(max. 15 minutes), or when the Peak Demand Off key is pressed. The mode is
immediately deactivated and the refrigerator returns to the normal state when the
door is opened or closed, or the dispenser is used.
Peak Demand Off (Override mode)
When you want the refrigerator to ignore the SMART GRID (Demand Response) signal from
the utility company, you can activate Peak Demand Off (Override mode).
When you activate Peak Demand Off (Override mode), the refrigerator ignores the SMART
GRID (Demand Response) signal and is not controlled by the utility company.
Activating and deactivating Peak Demand Off (Override mode)
RF31CG74*, RF26CG74*, RF32CG54*, RF27CG54* models
1. To activate/deactivate Peak Demand Off (Override mode), Press the Freezer button for
3 seconds.
2. When the Peak Demand Off function is deactivated, press the Freezer button for 3
seconds to activate Peak Demand Off function.
- The corresponding indicator ( ) turns on.
- If the refrigerator receives a SMART GRID (Demand Response) signal from the utility
company, ‘Or’ is displayed in the fridge display.
3. When the Peak Demand Off function is activated, if you press Freezer button for 3
seconds the Peak Demand Off function will be deactivated.
- The corresponding indicator (
) turns off.
RF31CG72*, RF32CG51*, RF32CG5N*, RF27CG51*, RF27CG50*, RF32CG53* models
1. To activate/deactivate Peak Demand Off (Override mode), Press the Door Alarm button
for 3 seconds.
2. When the Peak Demand Off function is deactivated, press the Door Alarm button for 3
seconds to activate Peak Demand Off function.
- The corresponding indicator ( ) turns on.
- If the refrigerator receives a SMART GRID (Demand Response) signal from the utility
company, ‘Or’ is displayed in the fridge display.
3. When the Peak Demand Off function is activated, if you press Door Alarm button for 3
seconds the Peak Demand Off function will be deactivated.
- The corresponding indicator ( ) turns off.
