Replacing the Scraper Blade

NOTICE: To replace the scraper blade, you need to prepare a star key set.

WARNING! Make sure to turn off the machine and remove the battery before performing any maintenance task
on your cordless snow shovel. The scraper blade is a wear item and should be replaced when necessary. A worn
scraper blade can cause extreme vibration and damage the auger.
Place the snow shovel on the ground or on a work bench. Turn the snow shovel over. Use a suitable
star key (not supplied) to remove the 3 screws that secure the scraper blade to the base of the unit. (Fig.13)
Remove the old scraper blade. (Fig.14)
Install the new scraper blade and fasten it securely to the housing with the 3 screws. (Fig.15)

Examine the cordless snow shovel thoroughly for worn, loose, or damaged parts. Should you need to repair or
replace a part, contact Voltask customer service for assistance.
Remove the battery from the cordless snow shovel before storing the shovel.
Allow the shovel to dry thoroughly.
To protect the snow shovel from corrosion when storing for long periods, lightly oil the metal parts.
Store the cordless snow shovel indoors in a locked, dry, well-ventilated place out of the reach of children to
prevent unauthorized use or damage.
