CORDLESS HEAT GUN
WARNING! Read, understand and follow all instructions and

NOTE: Fully charge the heat gun’s built in Lithium Ion battery before starting
for the first time.
CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Insert the included mini USB cord into port at base of heat gun.
2. Plug the USB end of the cable into any standard USB outlet with a 2.1A
output or higher.
3. Red LED located on the power status display will turn on.
4. Battery will take approximately 2 hours to charge.
BATTERY STATUS DISPLAY
DURING CHARGING:
Red LED only ..........................................................Battery currently charging
Green LED only............................................................... Battery fully charged
No LEDs lit ..........................................Verify USB cord is plugged in securely
and that the USB outlet has output power (5v @2.1A)
DURING TOOL OPERATION:
Red, orange and green LEDs are lit....................................... Battery at 100%
Red and orange LEDs only are lit ...................................... Battery at 50–30%
Red LED is only lit .........................................Battery at >10% Recharge now
OPERATION
TURNING ON HEAT GUN:
After fully charging, disconnect USB power cord.
1. Push safe start button for 3 seconds to activate blower motor (blue LED),
2. Press button a second time to activate heating elements(red LED).
NOTE: Heat gun cannot be activated during the charging process or while
the mini USB power cord is attached.
NOTE: If the heat gun fails to start plug and unplug the mini USB power cord
while plugged into power source to reboot system.
TURNING OFF HEAT GUN:
1. Press safe start power button once to turn off heating elements.
2.
Press button for 3 seconds to deactivate blower motor and fully power down.
NOTE: Allow the tool to cool for at least 10 minutes before storage.
BUILT IN OVERHEATING PROTECTION CIRCUIT
· If temperatures are beyond operating range the heating elements will
power down and the blue LED will flash on and off.
· The fan motor will continue to run, cooling down the heating elements.
· Heating elements will automatically restart once they reach a safe
operating temperature and the red LED will turn on
.
STORAGE AND TRANSPORTING
· The Safe Start power button prevents accidental activation when stored or
carried in a tool bag.
· A fully charged Li-Ion battery will maintain its charge for up to 6 months.
NOTE: Make sure to charge battery every 6 months to maintain battery life.
CLEANING
· Keep air vents and mini USB receptacle clean and dust free.
· Use compressed air at low pressure to clean out hard to reach areas.
· Clean the tool with a damp cloth and a little soap. Do not use detergents or
solvents; they can damage the plastic parts of the tool.
· We recommend cleaning the tool directly after each use.
WARNING: Use extreme caution when operating this tool. This power tool
emits high temperature and the nozzle becomes very hot.
Keep hands and body out of the heated air stream and never touch the
nozzle. The intense heat can injure them.
NEVER direct tool at clothing, hands or other body parts. NEVER use as a
hair dryer. Keep out of reach of children or animals.
Do not lay the heat gun on flammable surfaces when operating the gun or
immediately after shutting the gun off
Do not use near combustible materials such as flammable liquids, gasses,
cloth, or paper which can scorch, catch fire and possibly explode.
WARNING: Using this product to melt / heat materials they can produce
vapors that contain chemicals known to the State of California to cause
cancer and birth defects (or other reproductive harm). Your risk from
exposure varies, depending on how often you do this type of work.
To reduce your exposure to these chemicals: work in a ventilated area, and
work with approved safety equipment, such as those dust masks that are
specially designed to filter out microscopic particles.
WARNING: Do not block the air intake openings opposite the intake cover.
The heating element can be damaged if the air intake is blocked.
