5 Operating the appliance
5.4 Detergent dosage
Adding too much washing detergent can cause excess foaming. The con-
sequences: poor wash results, damage to the appliance in the worst case.
The correct dosage depends on the degree of soiling, the wash load, the water hardness
and the product used. Follow the manufacturer’s dosing instructions.

After adding the washing detergent
▸ Push the detergent dispenser drawer back in.
▸ Select a programme.
5.5 Dyeing textiles
Textiles can be dyed in the appliance using suitable dyeing agents. Follow the manufac-
turer’s safety instructions and warnings.

– The programme starts with brief draining; water runs into the washing

▸ Open detergent dispenser drawer slightly.
▸ Add liquid dye components.
▸ Close the detergent dispenser drawer.
5.6 Selecting programme
Main wash programmes
When a programme is selected, all the necessary settings for it are assigned automatic-
ally. Additional functions can be selected or deselected by using further buttons in other
views.
▸ Close the appliance door.
