When you return home after riding, thoroughly
clean your vehicle and remove any dirt, mud,
brush, rocks, or other objects you may have
picked up along the way.
After cleaning, carefully inspect your vehicle for
leaks or damage.
Be sure to lubricate the drive chain to prevent
rusting.
Refueling and Fuel Guidelines
Follow these guidelines to protect the engine
and fuel system:
Use only unleaded gasoline.
Use the recommended octane number.
Using lower octane gasoline will result in
decreased engine performance.
Do not use fuels containing a high
concentration of alcohol. 2 P. 91
Do not use stale or contaminated gasoline
or an oil/gasoline mixture.
Avoid getting dirt or water in the fuel tank.
