Stacking Kit Installation Guide (SKK-AT*/**)
CAUTION
Risk of personal injury. The dryer is large and heavy. Have at least two people move the
dryer. Otherwise, it may result in personal injury or death.

washing machine. Do not install the washing machine on top of the dryer. Otherwise, it may
result in personal injury, death or property damage.
Risk of electric shock. You must disconnect the power cord before installing the product.
Otherwise, it may result in severe personal injury or death.
When installing the dryer on top of the washing machine, make sure the drain hose in the
rear is connected directly to a drain and not to a water tank.
NOTE
This stacking kit is compatible with 16 kg+ Samsung fron t-load washing machines and 14 kg+
Samsung dryers (or 10 kg+ Samsung dryers in Australia) that were released after 2009.

III. Installation
STEP1<Figure16>
Tighten the four levelling feet of the dryer all the way.
Ensure the dryer is correctly level so it stands balanced evenly on all four feet. A sprit level
can assist with this process.
Connect the drain hose at the back of the dryer directly to your drain system.
For detailed instructions on connecting the drain hose directly to your drain system, consult
the user manual. Electronic copies are available on the Samsung website.
NOTE
For detailed instructions on connecting the drain hose, please check the dryers user manual.

STEP2<Figure17>
Slightly pull out the installed washing machine to gain access to its rear.
Remove the screws from the caps attached to the top panel on the back of the washing
machine.
Number of fastened screws may differ depending on the model.

Check the capacity of your washing machine (22 kg and less or 23 kg and over) and locate the
correct assembly holes on the stacking guides (A).

on the top cover brackets (B).
A means the models launched in 2020 or later. B means the models launched in 2019 or
before.
Use the assembly hole marked with AA for multi-control models.

Check the washing machine model name and locate the correct assembly holes on the top cover
brackets (B).

STEP5<Figure20>
Install the top cover brackets (C) on their corresponding stacking guides (D) using the M4 x L16
screws.
Make sure to check the left and right sides on each accessory before installing them.
STEP6<Figure21>
Position the assembled stacking guides on the curved edges of the washing machine’s top cover.
Reassemble the top cover caps that were previously removed. If the screws are too short, use
the provided M5 x L16 screws.
The left (L) and right (R) markings indicate sides as seen from the back of the washing
machine. Be mindful of the orientation when assembling.
NOTE
For multi-control models (Washing machine: WF**T9*** models, Dryer: DV**T9*** models)
After completing this step, connect the washing machine and the dryer according to
the “Multi-control connection guide” section on the provided washing machine manual
<Figure 15>. Then, proceed from step 13 to the end of this guide.
STEP7<Figure22>
Assemble the bracket guide to the stacking guides at the front end and check the alignment.
Remove the release liner from the double-sided tape attached to the bottom of the stacking
guidesandattachthestackingguidestothewashingmachineasshowninthe�gure.Then,
disassemble the bracket guide from the stacking guides.
CAUTION
Make sure the bottom curvature of the stacking guides is aligned with the curvature of the
washing machine’s top cover.
Attach the stacking guides after making sure they are perfectly parallel with the washing
machine’s top cover.
After attaching the stacking guides, reattach the bracket guide and double check to make
sure the stacking guides are parallel.
STEP8<Figure23>
Place a protective mat over the front end of the stacking guides to protect the washing machine.
Secure the mat in place at the front of the washing machine using the provided foam tapes
(removethereleaseliner�rst).
STEP9<Figure24>
Use a lift machine or have at least two people lift the dryer and place it on the stacking guide,
and then push the dryer until the rear two legs are properly locked into the stacking guides’
U-shaped slot.
STEP10<Figure24>
Remove the foam tapes from the sides of the washing machine and then remove the protective
mat.

If installed correctly, the front edges of the stacking guides should be perfectly aligned with the
front edges of the dryer’s side frames.
Check to make sure the front edges of the dryer’s side frame are not sticking out past the
stacking guides.

headscrews,asshowninthe�gure.

<Figure 15> before assembling the front cover (A).
ForDV1*R****model<Figure28>
You cannot assemble the front cover (A). Cover the screws using two of the provided round
stickers.
Use the provided round stickers when installing.
