Connecting Electrical Loads
1. Let engine stabilize and warm up for a few minutes
after starting.
2. Ensure circuit breaker on control panel is in "On"
position.
3. Plug in and turn on the desired 120 and/or 240 Volt
AC,single phase, 60 Hz electrical loads.
NOTICE When plugging into the 120 Volt receptacles,plug
items to be powered in sequenceas shown below.

DO NOTconnect 3-phase loads to the generator.

Stopping the Engine
1. Turn OFFand unplug aiI electrical loads from generator
panel receptacles. NEVERstart or stop engine with
electrical devices plugged in and turned ON.
2. Let engine run at no-load for several minutes to
stabilize internal temperatures of engine and generator.
3. Push engine rocker switch to OFF or 0 position.

fire or explosion resulting in death,
serious injury and/or property damage.
* DONOTstop engineby movingchokecontrolto "Choke"
position(IXl).
4. Move fuel valve to "Off" position.
Warm WeatherOperation
This generator engine is equippedwith WeatherGuard,an
innovative feature to preventcarburetor icing in cold weather
conditions. WeatherGuardhas been engineeredto operate in
aii weather conditions. However,product performance can be
increasedwhen operating t)e generator solely in warm
weather by removing the _eat_[Guard shield (A).

Removethe two nuts (B) and loosen the fastener (C) as
shown. Store shield andfasteners for future cold weather
operation.
