TROUBLESHOOTING CHART
CAUSE
o Loose or damaged wiring.
• Faulty solenoid or starter.
o Cutting too much
grass/too fast.
° Throttle In "CHOKE" posi-
tion.
o Build-up of grass, leaves
and trash under mower,
o Dirty air filter+
° Low oil level/dirty oil+
o Faulty spark plug.

+ Check all wiring.
o Check/replace solenoid or
starter,
+ Set in =Higher Cut" posi-
tion/reduce speed,
• Adjust throttle control,
• Clean underside of mower
housing.
Clean/replace air tilter.
o Check oil level/change oil.
• Clean and regap or change
spark plug.
• Replace fuel filter.
, Drain fuel tank and refill with
fresh gasoline.
, Drain fuel tank and carbure-
tor, refill tank with fresh gaso-
line and replace fuel filter.
• Connect and tighten spark
plug wire.
, Clean engine air screen/fins,
• Clean/replace muffler.
