Air Coeling System
Overtime debris may accumulate in cylinder cooling fins and
cannot be observed without partial engine disassembly. For
this reason,we recommend you have an qualified Sears
service dealer clean the cooling system per recommended
intervals (see MaintenanceSchedule). Equally important is to
keeptop of engine free from debris. See CleanDebris.

Battery Maintenance
Other than float charging, described elsewhere, no
maintenanceis required for the starting battery. Keepthe
battery and terminals clean and dry.
IMPORTANT:Battery charging should be performed in a dry
location, such as inside a garage.
AFTEREACHUSE
Water should not remain in the unit for long periods of time.
Sediments or minerals can deposit on pump parts and
"freeze" pump action. Follow these proceduresafter every
use:
1. Shut off engine, turn off water supply, point gun in a
safe direction, press red button and squeezetrigger to
relieve trapped pressure and let engine cool.
WARHIHG
The high pressurestream of water that this
equipment produces can cut through skin and its
_ nderlying tissues, leadingto serious injury and
)ossible amputation.
Spray gun traps high water pressure, even when
engine is stopped and water is disconnected,
which can cause injury.

outlet on pump. Drain water from hose, gun, and nozzle
extension. Use a rag to wipe off the hose.
3. Empty pump of all pumped liquids by pulling recoil
handle about 6 times. This should remove most liquid in
pump.
4. Coil high pressure hose on hose wrap provided on
accessory tray.
5. Store unit in a clean, dry area.
