MFD Remote
Pairing With a Chartplotter
You can pair your watch with a compatible Garmin chartplotter for quick access to frequently used functions,
such as shortcuts and chart zoom.
1 From the watch face, press START.
2 Select MFD Remote.
3 Bring your MARQ watch within 3 m (10 ft.) of the chartplotter.
4 Follow the instructions on the watch screen to place the chartplotter in pairing mode.
5 Select the name of the chartplotter on your watch.
After you pair the devices, they connect automatically when they are turned on, within range, and the app is open
on the watch.
Using the MFD Remote Feature
1 From the watch face, press START.
2 Select MFD Remote.
3 Use the touchscreen to navigate the menus and features on the paired chartplotter.
TIP: You can press START to toggle between the chartplotter's directional pad and its main controls.
Fishing
Going Fishing
1 From the watch face, press START.
2 Select Fish.
3 Press START > Start Fish.
4 Press START, and select an option:
To add the catch to your fish count and save the location, select Log Catch.
To save your current location, select Save Location.
To set an interval timer, end time, or end time reminder for the activity, select Fish Timers.
To navigate back to the starting point of your activity, select Back to Start, and select an option.
To view your saved locations, select Saved Locations.
To navigate to a destination, select Navigation, and select an option.
To edit the activity settings, select Settings, and select an option (Activities and App Settings, page35).
5 After you complete your activity, press STOP, and select End Fish.
Anchor
Marking Your Anchor Location
1 From the watch face, select START > Anchor.
2 Select START > Drop Anchor.
Anchor Settings
From the watch face, press START, select Anchor, and hold MENU.
Drift Radius: Sets the allowable drift distance while anchored.
Update Interval: Sets the time interval for updating anchor data.
Anchor Alarm: Allows you to configure or disable an alarm for when the boat moves beyond the drift radius.
