Opening the door manually

burn yourself on the door glass.
Wear pot holders when opening the
hot door.

When using a cooking program in-
volving steam, a lot of steam can es-
cape if the door is opened. The
steam can cause burns.
Step back and wait until the steam
has dissipated before taking the food
out of the oven.
Insert the door tool supplied about
1 1/2" (3cm) into the gap between
the door and the control panel on the
right-hand side and then pull the door
open.
Risk of injury caused by hot sur-
faces and food.
The steam oven gets hot during op-
eration. You could burn yourself on
the heater elements, oven compart-
ment, side racks, accessories, food,
or door glass.
Use pot holders when taking hot
food out of the oven, when adjusting
oven shelves, etc., in a hot oven
