Operating your Portable Air Conditioner
Heating function
• By choosing the HEAT mode, the ambient warm air will be recycled and utilised to heat the
area where it is required.
• Continuous drainage must be used when the unit is in heat mode.
• Optimum ambient temperature when using the heating function is 7 ~ 25
o
C.
• For temperature outside this range, the unit may not work properly.
Dehumidify (DRY) mode
• In dehumidify (DRY) mode, the temperature cannot be adjusted, the ventilation will be set at
low speed. When the unit is operating in Dehumidify ( DRY) mode, humidity extracted from
the air is collected in an internal tank. When the tank reaches full, the compressor and motor
cut out automatically and the “Water Full” indicator comes on. An alarm will also sound.
• When the tank is full, drain the water as shown in the page 13.
• You may also use the unit without having to empty the tank so often by using “continuous
drainage”, please also refer to the page 13.
Remote control
The remote requires a line-of-sight path to allow for the signal to be received by the unit.
Position the unit so the receiver lens is visible from the remote control.
The symbols on the remote correspond to the symbols on the main unit.
2 x AAA size batteries are required.
Ensure batteries are inserted in the correct direction.
NOTE
To prolong compressor's life, after switching off the unit, please wait for 3 minutes (at least)
before turning back on again.
The cooling system will switch off if the ambient temperature is lower than the set temperature.
The ventilation will keep running and once the ambient temperature rises above the selected
level, the cooling function will start again.
The heating system will switch off if the ambient temperature is higher than the set
temperature. The ventilation will keep running and once the ambient temperature drops below
the selected level, the heating function will start again.
This machine is equipped with ANTI-FROST function. While using the heating function during low
temperature, sometimes the heating will stop for a while in order to melt the frost.
