Operating your Portable Air Conditioner
ON/OFF
• Press ON/OFF button, the unit will start in AUTO mode.
• If the ambient temperature is higher than 22
o
C, the unit will work in cooling model.
• If the ambient temperature is between 20
o
C and 23
o
C, the unit will work in fan
mode.
• If the ambient temperature is lower than 20
o
C, the unit will work in heating mode.
• Indicators of the current mode will be shown on the control panel.
• NOTE! The display window shows the ambient room temperature from 0
o
C to 50
o
C.
• To turn the unit off, press ON/OFF button again.
MODE
• Press MODE button to select required working mode: automatic, cooling, fan, heat or
dehumidify. The indicator for your selected mode will be illuminated.
TEMPERATURE
• Press 'Temperature up' or 'Temperature down' button to regulate the temperature you
desired.
• The display window will show the temperature you set as you press 'Temperature up' or
'Temperature down' button. Otherwise, it will always show the ambient temperature.
• The pre-set temperature of this appliance is 24
o
C for cooling, 20
o
C for heating.
FAN SPEED
• Press SPEED button to choose the fan speed you need, high, medium or low. The indicator
of high, medium or low speed will light on at the same time.
• If the unit is in AUTO mode, it will choose the fan speed automatically according to the
ambient temperature. The related indicators will light up. You cannot adjust the fan speed
in AUTO mode.
TIMER
• OFF TIMER - Press TIMER button to set the operating hours you desire (1 to 24 hours) the
timer indicator will light come on. When the set time has elapsed, the machine will turn off
automatically.
• ON TIMER – When the unit is in standby, press the TIMER button to set the number of ours
(1 to 24 hours before the unit will automatically switch on.
• The display window will show the number of hours you set as you press TIMER button. If
the timer button is not pressed, the unit will work continuously.
SLEEP
• In cooling mode, by pressing the SLEEP button, the set temperature will increase 1
o
C after 1
hour, another 1
o
C after 2 hours then stay at that temperature.
• In heat mode, by pressing the SLEEP button, the set temperature will decrease 1
o
C after 1
hour, another 1
o
C after 2 hours then stay at that temperature.
• In sleep mode, the fan will automatically set to low speed. Press the SLEEP button will turn
sleep off and return to the last set model.
• The unit will shut down automatically after the SLEEP function has been running for 12
hours.
• Please note, the sleep function is not available while the machine is in AUTO, FAN or
DEHUMIDIFICATION mode.
