The Dispenser Drawer
Slowly open the dispenser dra_,_erby pulling it
out until it stops.
After addinglaundryproducts,slowly close the
dispenserdrawer Closingthedrawer too quickly
couldresult in earlydispensingof thebleach,
fabricsofteneror detergent.
Youmayseewater in tire bleachandfabricsoftener
compartmentsat the endof thecycle.This is a result
of the flushing/siphoningactionand is part of the
normaloperationof the washer.
The Prewash Compartment
Only use the Prewash Compartment if you
are selecting the Prewash cycle for heavily
soiled clothes. Add measured detergent ()r
prewash additive to the back left prewash
compartment of the dispenser drm_ex:
Detergent or prewash additive is flushed
tJ'om the dispenser in the prewash cycle
(if selected).
NOTE:Liquiddetergentwilldrainintothewasher
drumasit isadded.
Detergent usage rrl{lt need to be a(!justed
ti)r water temperature, water hardness,
size and soil level of tile load. Avoid using
too much detergent in your washer as it
can lead to over sudsing and detergent
residue being left on the clothes.

The Detergent Compartment
High efficiency detergent is required
for this washer. Use the detergent
manufacturer's recommended amount.
The detergent selection insert must be placed
in the detergent compartment in a specific
position according to what r_pe of detergent
you are using.
Powder Detergent- Place the insert in tile
,'ear position. The Powder Icons _ must
line up on center when the insert is in the
powder position.
LiquidDetergent- Place the insert in the
tbr_ard position. The i,iquid Icons (27"
must line up on center when the insert is
in the liquid position.
Move the insert b} pulling it up and replace
it b} sliding it down bet\_een either the rear
or i7"ont detergent corripartn, ent molded rails,
as desired, fitr powder or liquid detergent.
Add measured detergent to tile fl'ont left
detergent comparehen, of the dispenser
drawer.
Detergent is flushed J/'orri tile
dispenser at tile beginning of the
wash cycle. Either powdered or liquid
detergent can be used.

Donot exceedthe maximumfill line. Overfillingcan
causeearly dispensingof the bleach whichcouldresult
indamagedclothes.
NOTE:Donotusepowderedbleachin thedispenser
The Fabric Softener Compartment
If desired, pour the recommended ;:il]l()tlIlt of
liquid tid)ric softener into the comparmient
labeled "E_BRIC SOFTENER."
Use only liquid tid)ric softener in the
dispenser.
Dilutewith waterto themaximumfill line.
Donot exceedthe maximumfill line. Overfillingcan
causeearlydispensingof thefabricsoftener which
couldstain clothes.
NOTE:Donotpourfabricsoftenerdirectlyon 9
thewashload.
