How it Works
The CustomCoolTM feature is a s_steln of
daml)e_ , a tim, a temperature thermistor
and a heate_: Depending on the flmcfion
selected, a combination _ff these will be
used to quickly chill items, thaw items or
hold the pan at a spedfic temperature.
The pan is tightly sealed to prevent the pan's
temperatm'e fl'om causing temperatm'e
fluctuations in the rest of the refl_igeratm:
Some CustomCoolmodels teature a beverage
center: It is designed to store beverages at
colder temperatures. Select the Beverage
Center pad if you like to kee I) extra-chilled
refi'eshments on hand.
The controls fl)r this pan are located at the
top of the refl_igerator with the temperature
controls.

How to Use
O Erupt} the pan. Place the Chill/Thaw
tra} in the pan. Place the items on the
tra} and close the pan completely.
O Select the ExpressThaw:" ExpressChilY"
or SelectTemp TM pad. The display and
SE/'light will come on. Tap the pad
until tile light appeax_ next to the
desired setting. Use the chart to
detemline the best setting to use.
To stop a teatm'e before it is
finished, trip that teature's pad
tmfil no options are selected and
the display is off.
Dtwing ExpressThaw and
ExpressChill,tile displa_ on the
controls will carrot down the time
in the cycle.
_4dier the ExpressThawcycle is
complete, the pan will reset to the
MEATsetting (32°F) to help preserve
thawed items tmtil they are used.
The displayed actual temperature _ff
the CustemCeel pan may vaxT slightly
fl'om the SETtemperatm'e based on
usage and operating enviromnent.
NOTE'.Forfood safety reasons,it is recommended
that foods be wrapped in plastic wrap when using
ExpressThaHz Thiswill help contain meat juices
and improve thawing performance.
How to Remove and Replace the Drawer
Toremove: 0 I,ock all tour swing locks by rotating
O Pull the drawer out to the stop position, them to the lock position.
O Rotate all Ibm" swing locks to the tmlock
position.
O i,ifl the ti'ont _ffthe drawer up and ()tit.
Toreplace:
0 Make sm'e all tom" swing locks are in the
tmlock position.
O Place the sides of the drawer into the
drawer supports, making sure the swing
locks fit on the drawer slots.
