Attaching The Seat
NOTE:Forshippingreasons,theseatiseitherfastenedtothetractor
seat'spivotbracketwitha plastictie,or mountedbackwardtothepivot
bracket.Ineithercase,freetheseatfromits shippingpositionbeing
carefulnotto bendor kinkthewiringharnessandfollowtheinstruc-
tionsbelowtoattachit.
1. Removethetwo hexscrewsandnutsfromtheseatpivotbracket.
2. Alignthefrontholesoftheseatmountingbracketwiththeholesin
theseatpivotbracketon yourtractorand securewith previously
removedhexscrewsandnuts. SeeA in Figure4.
3. Plugthewiringharnessintotheseatsafetyswitchinthebottomof
theseat,asshownin Bof Figure4.
NOTE:Thetractorwillnotoperatewiththewiringharness
disconnected.
Adjusting the Seat
Toadjustthepositionof theseat,pullupandholdtheseatadjustment
lever.Slidetheseatforwardor rearwardtothedesiredposition;then
releasetheadjustmentlever.Makesureseatis lockedintopositionin
a seat-stopbeforeoperatingthetractor.SeeFigure5.
Beforeoperatingthetractor,makesuretheseatisengagedina
seat-stop.Engagetheparkingbrake.Standbehindthemachineand
pull backon seatuntilitclicksintoplace.
