OCCURRENCE
OPERATING
Washer does not start.
POSSIBLE CAUSE / SOLUTION
Electrical power cord may not be plugged in or connection may be loose.
Make sure plug fits tightly in wall outlet.
House fuse blown,circuit breaker tripped, or a power outage has occurred,
Reset circuit breaker or replace fuse. Do not increase fuse capacity, If
problem is a circuit overload, have itcorrected by a qualified electrician. If
problem isa power outage, call local electric company.
Water supply faucets are notturned on. Turn on water supplyfaucets.
Cycle selector is not in correct position. Move indicator clockwise slightly.
Pullout knob.
Motor isoverheated. Washer motor will stop if it becomes overheated. Itwill
automatically restart after a cool down period of up to 30 minutes (ifwasher
has not been manually turned off).
Dispenser drawer isnotcompletely closed. Close dispenser drawer.
Washer won't spin, Washer door is not completely closed. Close door completely.

Load is too small. Add 1 or 2 similar items to help balance the load.

Water collects in bleach and fabric ', This is a resultof the siphoning actionand is part ofthe normal operation of
softener compartments, the washer. Water may be removed by removingthe dispenser drawer (see
Page 10, Figures I and 2) and drainingwater intothe empty drum or sink.

30 psi (260 kPa). Avoid runningwater elsewhere whilewasher isfilling.
Water inlethoses are kinked. Straighten hoses.
Warm or hot water is not hot enough.
Hot water heater isset too low or isa distance from washer. Measure hot
water temperature at nearby faucet withcandy or meat thermometer. Water
temperature should be at least 120°F (49°C), Adjust water heater as
necessary.
Hot water isbeing used elsewhere in the house. Avoid using hotwater
elsewhere before or during washer use. There may notbe enough hotwater
available for proper cleaning. If problem persists, your hotwater system may
be unable to support more than I use at a time.
