When washing iscompleted, wipe top and sides ofwasher with a damp
cloth. Turn water faucets offtoprevent pressure build-up in the hoses.
As needed, clean the cabinet with mildsoap and water. Never use harsh,
gritty or abrasive cleansers. Ifdoor or console becomes stained, clean
with dilutedchlorine bleach [1/2 cup (120 ml) in 1 quart (.95 L)water].
Rinse several times with clear water.
Remove glue residue from tape or labelswith a mixture ofwarm water and
milddetergent. Or, touch residue with the stickyside ofthe tape or label.
Before moving the washer, place a stripofcardboard or thinfiberboard
under thefront leveling legs toprevent floor damage.
Cleaning the Dispenser Drawer Area
Detergent and fabric softener may buildup inthe dispenser drawer. Residue
shouldbe removed once or twice a month.

Remove the drawer byfirst slidingthe safety latch tothe right,then pulling
the drawer out until itstops. (Figure 1)
Reach back intothe left rear corner of the drawer cavity and press down
firmlyon the lock tab (left rear portion ofthe drawer). Pullout the drawer.

Remove the insertsfrom the bleach and fabric softenercompartments.

Rinse the drawer and insertswith hottap water to remove traces of
accumulated powders and liquids. Large amounts offabricsoftener
residue may indicate improper dilutionor more frequent cleaning is
required.
To clean the drawer opening, use e small brush to clean the recess.
Remove all residue from the upper and lower parts ofthe recess. (Figure4)
Return the bleach and fabricsoftener insertstotheir propercompartments.
Replace the dispenser drawer and run the Prewash cyclewithout anywash
load inthe drum,

Remove items from the washer as soon as the cycle ends. Excess
wrinkling, colortransfer, and odors may develop in items leftin the washer.
Before cleaning thewasher interior,unplug the electrical power cord to
avoid electrical shock hazards.

Dry aroundthe washer door opening, flexible gasket, and door glass.
These areas shouldalways be clean to ensure a water tightseal.
When extremely soiled items have been washed, a dirtyresidue may
remain on the drum, Remove this bywiping the drumwith a nonabrasive
householdcleanser. Rinse thoroughlywith water. _
The plastic drum vanes may become stained from febric dye. Clean these
partswith a nonabrasive household cleanser. This prevents dyetransfer to
futureloads,
