Maintenance Chart
DO NOT attempt any maintenance, adjustments or service
with engine and blade running. STOP engine and blade.
Remove the starter insert. Disconnect spark plug wire and
secure away from spark plug. Engine and components are
ROT. Avoid serious burns, attow sufficient time for all com-
ponents to cool. Wear heavy teather gtoves when handling
or working around cutting blades. Blades are extremely
sharp and can cause severe injury.
Emissions Control
Maintenance, replacement, or repair of the emissions
control devices and systems may be performed by any
non-road engine repair establishment or individual.
However, to obtain "no charge" emissions control seP
vice, the work must be performed by a factory autho-
rized dealer. See the Emissions Warranty.
Every 8 Hours or Daily ............
Check safety interlock system
Clean debris off mower
Every 25 HoUrS or ArlnuaHy _
Check mower for loose hardware
Lubricate mower
Check mower blade **
Check mower blade stopping time
Check drive belt
Clean battery and cables
* Whichever comes first
