To secure more room for storage in the freezer compartment
Remove the upper shelf, which can be detached manually without a tool.
• Removal of the upper shelf does not affect thermal and mechanical performance of the
freezer.
• To remove both ice makers, remove the right-handed one rst (applicable to Ice Max
models).
• For best energy efciency, make sure all of shelves, drawers, and baskets are placed in
their original position.
