IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, always follow basic safety
precautions, including the following:
1. READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USE
2. Before using the appliance, check that the voltage in your home
corresponds with that stated on the appliance’s rating plate.
3. To protect against fire, electric shock and injury to persons, do not
touch hot surfaces. Use handles and buttons.
4. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug, or
appliance in water or any other liquid.
5. Close supervision is necessary when appliance is used by or near
children.
6. Please keep out of reach of children and pets. This product is not
intended for use by children, by persons with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or by those lacking experience or knowledge,
unless supervised or instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
Extra caution is always necessary when using this product.
7. Unplug appliance from outlet when not in use and before cleaning.
Allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning
the appliance.
8. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug. Do not
operate if appliance malfunctions or is damaged in any manner.
Return appliance to the nearest authorized service facility for
examination, repair, or adjustment.
9. Use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or serious personal injuries.
10. Do not use appliance outdoors.
11. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter. Do not let it touch
hot surfaces.
12. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated
oven.
13. To disconnect, turn all controls to “off”, then remove plug from wall
outlet.
14. Caution must be used when moving any appliance containing hot
liquids.
15. Do not use appliance for anything other than its intended use.
16. Do not leave unit unattended during use.
