3. This appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience
and knowledge, unless they have
been given supervision or instruction
concerning use of the appliances by
a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to
ensure they do not play with the
appliance.
4. Check the power cord and plug
regularly for any damage. If the cord
or the plug is damaged, it must be
replaced by the manufacturer or
qualied person in order to avoid an
electrical hazard.
5. Do not use the appliance if it has
been dropped or damaged in any
way. In case of damage, take the unit
in for examination and/or repair by
an authorized service agent.
6. Never immerse the unit in water
or any other liquid for cleaning
purposes.
7. Remove the plug from the socket
by gripping the plug. Do not pull on
the cord to disconnect the appliance
from the mains. Always unplug the
unit when not in use, before cleaning
or when adding or removing parts.
8. Do not use the appliance on a gas or
electric cooking top or over or near
an open ame.
9. The use of accessory attachments that
are not recommended or supplied
by the manufacturer may result in
injuries, re or electric shock.
10. A short cord is provided to reduce
the hazards resulting from becoming
entangled in or tripping over a longer
cord.
11. Do not let the cord hang over the
edge of a table or counter. Ensure that
the cord is not in a position where it
can be pulled on inadvertently.
12. Do not allow the cord to touch hot
surfaces and do not place on or near
a hot gas or electric burner or in a
heated oven.
13. Use of an extension cord with this
appliance is not recommended.
However, if it is necessary to use an
extension lead, ensure that the lead
is suited to the power consumption
of the appliance to avoid overheating
of extension cord, appliance or plug
point. Do not place the extension
cord in a position where it can be
pulled on by children or animals or
tripped over.
14. This appliance is not suitable for
outdoor use. Do not use for anything
other than its intended use.
15. Do not carry the appliance by the
power cord.
16. Do not leave the appliance
unattended during use. Always
unplug the unit when not in use or
before cleaning.
17. Always operate the appliance on a
smooth, even, stable surface. Do not
place the unit on a hot surface.

19. The manufacture does not accept

20. In case of technical problems, switch

appliance to an authorized service
facility for examination, adjustment
or repair. Always insist on the use of
original spare parts. Failure to comply

and instructions, could affect the safe
operation of this product.
21. Some countertop and table surfaces,
such as Corian®, wood and/or
laminates, are not designed to
withstand prolonged heat generated
by certain appliances. It is
recommended by countertop
manufacturers that a hot pad or
trivet be placed under your appliance
to prevent possible damage to the
surface.

SHORT CORD PURPOSE
POLARIZED PLUG
If the plug still does not t, contact a
qualied electrician. Never use the plug
with an extension cord unless the plug
can be fully inserted into the extension
cord. Do not alter the plug of the
product or any extension cord being
used with this product. Do not attempt
to defeat the safety purpose of the
polarized plug.
If this appliance is equipped with a
polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other), please follow the below
instructions:
To reduce the risk of electrical shock,
this plug is intended to t into a
polarized outlet only one way. If you
are unable to t the plug into the
electrical outlet, try reversing the plug.
BEFORE FIRST USE
Remove all packaging materials before using. Wipe clean the interior and exterior
of the machine with a damp cloth. When using the kettle for the rst time, it is
recommended that you clean your kettle before use by boiling a full kettle of water
twice and then discarding the water.
1. Use only cold water when lling the device.
2. Use ltered water to reduce lime scale buildup.
3. The water level must be between the MAX. and MIN. marks.
4. Switch the kettle off before removing it from the 360° swivel base.
5. Always make sure that the lid is tightly closed.
6. The base and exterior of the kettle must never become wet.
7. Kettle body used must match the 360° swivel base.
If an extension cord is used: (1) the
marked electrical rating of the extension
cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the product; (2) the
extension cord should be arranged so
that it will not drape over the counter
top or tabletop where it can
unintentionally be pulled on or tripped
over by children or pets.
Note: A short power cord is provided
to reduce the risk of personal injury
resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a long cord.
Longer power-supply cords or
extension cords are available and
may be used if care is exercised in
their use.

HOW TO USE
1. Open the lid by pressing the Lid Lock Release Button. Fill
the kettle to the desired level. Do not overll. Be sure not to
exceed the MAX line.
2. To close the lid, push down until it snaps into place.
3. Always place the 360° swivel base on a at, level surface.
Place the kettle on the 360° swivel base.
• Check if the voltage on your location is the same as
that of the kettle. Details can be found on the label on
the base of the kettle.
• Only connect the kettle to a properly installed120V
60Hz socket.
4. Press the Power Switch. The control lamp on the water
indicator will illuminate blue showing that the water is
being boiled.
5. After boiling, the kettle switches off automatically and
the blue light will turn off. Disconnect the kettle from the
electric supply.
6. This appliance is intended for household use only by:
• staff in kitchens and shops, ofces, and other working
environments
• farm houses
• clients in hotels, motels, and other residential type
environments
• bed and breakfast environments
CAUTION:
Never open the lid
while water is boiling.
Be careful when
opening the lid; the
water is very hot.
Wait a few minutes
for condensation to
evaporate.
After boiling water,
the outside of the
kettle can be very hot.
Only grasp by the
handle. Do not try to
lift kettle body with
both hands.
Do not open the lid
when pouring. If the
kettle is overlled,
boiling water may
ejected. The kettle is
only to be used with
the base provided.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
• Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet
before cleaning.
• Never immerse the base area or cord in water, or allow
moisture to contact with these parts.
REMOVAL OF MINERAL DEPOSITS AND LIME SCALE:
Mineral deposits in tap water may cause the kettle interior to
discolor. To remove this build-up, use Liquid De-scaler, a simple
to use, non-toxic cleaner.
Alternatively:
1. Fill the kettle with 3 cups of white vinegar and the
remainder with water and be allowed to stand overnight.
DO NOT BOIL!
2. Empty the solution from the kettle, any stains remaining
inside the spout can be removed by rubbing with a damp
cloth. Fill the kettle with clean water, bring to boil and then
discard the water. Repeat and the kettle will then be ready
to use. The outside of the kettle can be wiped over with a
damp cloth.
CLEANING APPEARANCE OF HOUSING:
Wipe the appearance of housing with a damp cloth or cleaner,
never use harsh chemical cleansers.
CLEANING THE FILTER:
Remember to clean the lter with a damp cloth at intervals. The
Filter can be detached for easier cleaning simply by pulling it
out. To attach, insert the Filter into the support dent.
NOTE:
Lime scale forms over
time when water is
heated. Though scale
is natural and
harmless, it may
produce a powdery
substance or
mineral-like chunks
that can get into your
hot beverages and
affect the taste. While
the concealed heating
element in this kettle
is designed to help
reduce scale buildup,
the lter helps prevent
particles from pouring
into your beverage.
CAUTION:
Do not use chemical,
steel, wooden or
abrasive cleaners to
clean the outside of
the kettle.
For consecutive
boiling, please allow
kettle to cool for 1 – 3

1. Your small kitchen appliance is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from any
manufacturing defects under normal use and conditions for one (1) year, cord excluded.
This Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of this product.
2. Retail stores/merchants selling this product do not have the right to alter, modify, or in any
way revise the terms and conditions of the warranty.
3. If you use your appliance for household use and according to instructions, it should give
you years of satisfactory service.
4. At its sole discretion, Maxi-Matic USA will either repair or replace the product found to be
defective during the warranty period.
5. The repaired or replacement product will be in warranty for the remaining balance of the
one-year warranty period and an additional one-month period.
6. Consumer’s remorse is not an acceptable reason to return a product to our Service Center.
7. This limited warranty covers appliances purchased and used within the 50 U.S. states plus
the District of Columbia and does NOT cover normal wear of parts or:
- Damages caused by unreasonable use, neglect, normal wear and tear, commercial
use, improper assembly or installation of product.
- Damages caused in shipping.
- Damages caused by replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers.
- Defects other than manufacturing defects.
- Breakage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, lack of proper care
and maintenance, or incorrect current or voltage.
- Lost or missing parts of the product. Parts will need to be purchased separately.
- Damages of parts that are not electrical; i.e. cracked or broken plastic/glass,
scratched/dented inner pots.
- Damage from service or repair by unauthorized personnel.
- Extended warranties purchased via a separate company or reseller.
- Acts of nature such as re, oods, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.
8. This warranty does not apply to re-manufactured merchandise.
Maxi-Matic, USA shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the
breach of any express or implied warranty. Apart from the extent prohibited by applicable law,
any implied warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular purpose is limited in time to
the duration of the warranty.
*One Year Limited Warranty valid only in the 50 U.S. states plus the District of Columbia,
excluding Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the USA; product us-
age which is in violation of the written instructions provided with the unit will void this warranty.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
RETURNS:
A. Any return of defective merchandise to the manufacturer must be
processed accordingly by rst contacting customer service (info@
maxi-matic.com) to obtain an RA # (Return Authorization Number). We
will not accept any returns of merchandise without an applicable RA #.
B. IMPORTANT RETURN INSTRUCTIONS. Your Warranty depends on your
following these instructions if you are returning the unit to Maxi-Matic,
USA:
1. Carefully pack the item in its original carton or other suitable
box with sufcient cushioning to avoid damage in shipping.
2. Before packing your unit for return, be sure to enclose:
a) Your name, full address with zip code, daytime telephone
number, and RA#,
b) A dated sales receipt or PROOF OF PURCHASE,
c) The model number of the unit and the problem you
are having (Enclose in an envelope and tape directly to
the unit before the box is sealed,) and
d) Any parts or accessories related to the problem.
3. Maxi-Matic, USA recommends that you ship the package via UPS
ground service for tracking purposes. We cannot assume
responsibility for lost or damaged products returned to us
during incoming shipment. For your protection, always carefully
package the product for shipment and insure it with the carrier.
C.O.D shipments cannot be accepted.
4. All return shipping charges must be prepaid by you.
5. Once your return has been received by our warehouse, Maxi-Matic,
USA will repair or replace the product if it is defective in material or
workmanship, subject to the conditions in paragraph B.
6. Maxi-Matic will pay the shipping charges to ship the repaired or
replacement product back to you.

EL USO DE UN CORDÓN CORTO
1. Para reducir el riesgo de daños personales, como un tropezón o enredarse con
el cordón eléctrico, un cordón eléctrico corto es suministrado con la unidad.
2. Una extensión eléctrica más larga podrá ser utilizada, siempre y cuando tome
extremas precauciones durante su uso.
3. Si una extensión eléctrica más larga va a ser utilizada, tenga muy en cuenta las
siguientes recomendaciones:
• Las especicaciones eléctricas especialmente el (amperaje) del cordón
eléctrico a utilizar deberá de ser igual o de más amperaje que el especicado
en el aparato a utilizar.
• La extensión eléctrica deberá de ser colocada de una manera que no
cuelgue de la mesa, donde una mascota, los niños o cualquier otra persona
lo pueda jalar o tropezar sobre ella, accidentalmente.
ENCHÚFE POLARIZADO
Si este aparato es suministrado con un cordón eléctrico de enchufe polarizado (un
lado del enchufe es más ancho que el otro) favor de seguir las siguientes
recomendaciones.
Para reducir el riesgo de una descarga eléctrica, este enchufe está diseñado para
entrar en el receptáculo eléctrico de una sola manera. Si el enchufe eléctrico no
entra completamente, de un giro al mismo y trate de nuevo; si no entra de ninguna
manera, póngase en contacto con un electricista para solucionar el problema.

ANTES DEL PRIMER USO
Remueva todo material de empaque. Limpie el interior y
exterior de la tetera con un trapo húmedo. Cuando use su tetera
por primera vez se recomienda hervir agua en ella 1 o 2 veces y
tirar el agua ya hervida.
1. Para llenar su tetera utilice agua fría únicamente.
2. Use agua ltrada únicamente para reducir el
almacenamiento de minerales.
3. El nivel de agua deberá estar entre las marcas de MAX.
y MIN.
4. Apague la tetera antes de quitar o colocarla en la base
5. Siempre asegúrese de que la tapa este bien colocada
6. La base y exterior de la tetera nunca deberá de mojarse
7. La tetera y base deberá de coincidir perfectamente.
COMO UTILIZAR SU APARATO
1. Destape la tetera presionando el botón como se muestra.
Llene de agua a su deseo. No sobrellene de agua y
asegúrese de no exceder el límite de la línea de MAX.
2. Empuje la tapadera hacia abajo hasta que cierre Siempre
coloque la base en una supercie plana y estable. Coloque
la tetera como se muestra.
• Asegúrese de que el voltaje en su área es la misma
que su tetera utiliza. Las especicaciones eléctricas las
podrá encontrar en la etiqueta pegada en la base.
• Conecte la tetera únicamente en el tomacorriente de
120V 60Hz.
3. Encienda la tetera como se muestra. La luz indicadora de
encendido se iluminara indicando que su tetera esta en el
proceso de hervir agua.
4. Después de hervida el agua la tetera se apagara
automáticamente y la luz indicadora se apagara.
5. Desconecte la tetera del tomacorriente.
PRECAUCIÓN:
Nunca destape la
tetera mientras esté
en funcionamiento y
con agua hirviendo.
Tenga mucha
precaución cuando
destape la tetera,
el agua estará muy
caliente, espere por
unos minutos para
que salga el vapor.
Después de hervir
agua el exterior de la
tetera estará caliente,
agarre la tetera por el
mango. No trate de
agarrar la tetera con
las dos manos. No
destape la tetera
cuando este
sirviendo. Si la tetera
se sobrellena, agua
hirviendo podrá
derramar. La tetera
esta diseñada para
trabajar con su propia
base únicamente.

MANTENIMIENTO Y LIMPIEZA
• Siempre desconecte la tetera del tomacorriente y espere a
que enfríe completamente antes de limpiar.
• Nunca sumerja la base o cordón eléctrico en agua o
permita que entre en contacto con la humedad.
COMO REMOVER LAS PARTÍCULAS DE MINERALES DE SU
TETERA:
Los minerales en agua de tubería pueden causar que el interior
de su tetera se descolore. Para remover este acumulamiento,
utilice liquido descalcicador es simple de usar y no es toxico.
Alternativamente:
1. Llene la tetera con tres tazas de vinagre blanco deje
reposar el contenido toda la noche, NO LO HIERVA.
2. Vacié el contenido de la tetera. Cualquier mancha dentro
de la unidad podrá ser removida fácilmente tallando con
un trapo húmedo. Llene la tetera con agua limpia y hierva,
después deshágase de la agua hervida, repita el proceso
una vez más y la tetera estará lista para nuevo uso.
COMO LIMPIAR EL EXTERIOR DE LA TETERA:
El exterior de la tetera podrá ser limpiada con un trapo húmedo.
Nunca utilice limpiadores abrasivos.
COMO LIMPIAR EL FILTRO INTEGRADO:
Recuerde de limpiar el ltro regularmente con un trapo
húmedo. El ltro podrá ser removido para una fácil limpieza,
simplemente jale el ltro hacia fuera. Para colocarlo de regreso
colóquelo en el soporte mella y empuje.
NOTA:
El acumulamiento de
sales minerales en
su tetera cuando el
agua es hervida con
el tiempo, es normal y
no es dañino, podrán
producirse sales
minerales en polvo o
en pequenos trozos
que podrán mezclar
en sus bebidas y
afectar su sabor. El
elemento térmico
en esta tetera esta
diseñada para ayudar
a reducir el
acumulamiento de
sales minerales el ltro
ayuda a ltrar y
prevenir que
partículas caigan en
su bebida.
PRECAUCIÓN:
No utilice químicos,
estropajos de metal o

5. El producto reparado o reemplazado estará garantizado por el saldo restante del período
de garantía de un año y un plazo adicional de un mes.
6. Esta garantía limitada cubre los aparatos comprados y usados en los 50 estados
contiguos y el Distrito de Columbia, y no cubre:
-Los daños causados por el uso excesivo, negligencia, uso y desgaste normal, uso
comercial, montaje o instalación incorrecta del producto.
-Los daños causados durante el envío.
-Los daños causados por la sustitución o reposición de fusibles o disyuntores.
-Defectos que no sean defectos de fabricación.
-Rotura causada por mal uso, abuso, accidente, alteración, falta de cuidado y man
tenimiento, o incorrecta de corriente o voltaje.
-Pérdida o falta alguna pieza del producto. Las piezas se deben comprar por
separado.
-Daños de piezas que no sean eléctricos; por ejemplo: agrietado o roto de plástico o
de vidrio.
-Daños por servicio o reparación por personal no autorizado.
-Las garantías extendidas compradas a través de una empresa independiente o
revendedor.
-Remordimiento del consumidor no es una razón aceptable para devolver un
producto a nuestro Centro de Servicio.
* Un año de garantía limitada válida solamente en los 50 estados contiguos y el Distrito de
Columbia, excluyendo Puerto Rico y las Islas Vírgenes.
Esta garantía es válida sólo si el producto es comprado y operado en los EE.UU., el uso del
producto que se encuentra en violación de las instrucciones escritas proporcionadas con la
unidad anulará esta garantía.

INSTRUCCIONES DE DEVOLUCIÓN
DEVOLUCIONES:
A. Cualquier devolución de mercancía defectuosa al fabricante deben ser procesados
apropiadamente contactando primero al servicio al cliente (información de contacto se
muestra a continuación) para obtener un # RA (Número de autorización de devolución).
No se aceptará ninguna devolución de mercancía sin un # RA aplicable.
B. INSTRUCCIONES IMPORTANTES DE RETORNO. Su garantía depende que usted siga estas
instrucciones si va a devolver la unidad a Maxi-Matic EE.UU.:
1. Empaque cuidadosamente el producto en su caja original o en otra caja adecua
da para evitar daños durante el envío.
2. Antes del envío de la devolución unidad, asegúrese de adjuntar:
a) Su nombre, dirección completa con código postal, número de teléfono
durante el día, y #RA
b) Un recibo de compra fechado o COMPROBANTE DE COMPRA,
c) El número de modelo de la unidad y el problema que tiene (Encierre en un
sobre y pegue directamente a la unidad antes de sellar la caja) y
d) Todas las piezas o accesorios relacionados con el problema.
3. Maxi-Matic EE.UU. recomienda enviar el paquete de servicio terrestre de UPS para
nes de seguimiento. No podemos asumir la responsabilidad por productos
perdidos o dañados devueltos a nosotros durante el transporte entrante. Para su
protección, siempre cuidadosamente empaquetar el producto para su envío y
asegurarlo con la compañía. Envíos C.O.D no puede ser aceptado.
4. Todos los gastos de envío de devolución debe ser pagado por usted.
5. Una vez que su devolución ha sido recibida por nuestro almacén, Maxi-Matic
EE.UU. se compromete a reparar o sustituir el producto si presenta defectos de
materiales o mano de obra, sujeto a las condiciones del apartado B.
6. Maxi-Matic pagará los gastos de envío para enviar el producto reparado o
reemplazado de nuevo a usted.
