if your battery is too weak to start {he engir_e, it should be
recharged. If "jumper cables" are used f0_remerge'ncy
starting, follow this procedure: •
IMPORTANT: Your TRACTOR IS EQUIPPED WITHA 12
VOLT.NEGATIVE GROUNDED SYSTEM: THE OTHER
VEHICLE MUST ALSO BE A 12 VOLT NEGAT}VE
GROUNDED SYSTEM. DO NOT USE YOUR TRACTOR
BATT.ERY TO START OTHER VEHICLES.

' Connect each end of the RED cabte to the POSIT]VE
(+) tern'iinal of each battery, taking care notto short
against chassisl
• Connect one end of the BLACK cable to the NEGA-
TIVE (-) terminal of fully charged batter,/,
= Connect the other end of the BLACK cable to good
CHASSIS GROUND, away from fuel tank and battery°
TO REMOVE CABLES, REVERSE ORDER -
, BLACK cable first from chassis and then from the fully
charged battery_
• . RED cable last from both batteries°

TO REPLACE HEADLIGHT BULB
, Raise hood.
• . pU!i bulb holder out of the hole In the backside of the
grill.
• Replace bulb In holder and push bulb holder securely
back into the 'hQle in the backside ofthe grill. '

Loose Or damaged wiring may cause your tractor to run
poorly, stop running, or prevent it from starting.

TO REPLACE FUSE
Replace With 30 amp automotive-type plug-in fuse_ The
fuse holder is located behind the dash..
TO REMOVE HOOD AND GRILL ASSEMBLY
