11 Trouble-shooting
... the appliance is causing interference with television or radio reception
Possible cause Solution
▪ Appliance is not defective. When in use, it
can cause interference with television or
radio reception. This is a similar kind of
interference to that caused by small elec-
trical appliances (mixers, vacuum clean-
ers, etc.).
… hot air flows out of the appliance during microwave operation
Possible cause Solution
▪ Normal functional state. The heat emitted
by the food warms the air in the cooking
space. This is then discharged to the out-
side. The heated air contains no mi-
crowaves.
▸ Ventilation slots must be kept
unobstructed.
... the appliance switches off prematurely
Possible cause Solution
▪ Appliance is overheated. ▸ Check ventilation slots. These must be freely
accessible.
▪ Ventilation slots are ob-
structed.
▸ Remove any obstructions from the ventilation
slots.
▸ Wait for the appliance to cool down.
▸ Restart the appliance.
▸ If the appliance still switches off prematurely,
contact Customer Services.
