Switching off for longer peri-
ods of time
If the wine unit is not going to be used
for a longer period of time:
Switch the wine unit off.
Switch off at the wall and withdraw
the plug from the socket, or discon-
nect the fuse.
Clean the wine unit.
Leave the door ajar to air the wine
unit and avoid odours building up in-
side it.
If the wine unit is switched off, but
not cleaned, during a long absence
and the door is left shut, there is a
risk of mould building up inside the
appliance.
The wine unit must be cleaned.
