How to use the Buttons
Timer Setting
To set the start up time:
With the unit off:
1. Press the
button, the time on the display will fl ash.
2. Press the button until the time you desire shows on the
display. The timer can be set anywhere between 1 and 24
hours.
3. The display will stop fl ashing and the time will be set.
4. To cancel press the button again.
To set the start down time:
With the unit on:
1. Press the button, the time on the display will fl ash.
2. Press the button until the time you desire shows on the
display. The timer can be set anywhere between 1 and 24
hours.

IMPORTANT
• The automatic operation time set by the remote control for the timer function is limited to 1 hour
increments up to 24 hours.
Example of Timer Operation
Start up (Auto-on Operation)
The Start up feature is useful when you want the unit to turn
on automatically, for example, right before you return home.
The air conditioner will automatically start operating at the
set time.
Example:
To start the air conditioner 6 hours ahead.
1. Press the button.
2. Keep pressing the button until it displays “06” on the
display.
