You can use the "Self-cleaning" operating mode to
clean the cooking compartment effortlessly. The
cooking compartment is heated up to a very high
temperature. Residues from roasting, grilling and
baking will burn.
You can choose from three cleaning settings.
The dirtier the cooking compartment and the longer the
dirt has been there, the higher the cleaning setting
should be. It is sufficient to clean the cooking
compartment every two to three months. If required, you
can clean the oven more frequently. Cleaning requires
approximately 2.5-4.7 kilowatt hours.
Note: For your safety, the cooking compartment door
locks automatically. It cannot be opened again until the
cooking compartment has cooled down and the H
symbol for the locking mechanism goes out in the
status bar. The interior lighting remains off during
cleaning.
