ENGINE STOPPED CHECKLIST
ITEM ACTION
1. Engine Oil Level Refer to operator's manual.
Refer to operator's manual.
2. Fuel level DO NOT refuel a hot engine. Allow engine to
cool before adding fuel.
3. Warning Decals Replace as necessary.
4. Tires
INSPECTION PROCEDURE
Add oil if required.
Check for leaks.
Tighten filler cap securely.
Add fuel if necessary.
DO NOT overfill.
DO NOT mix oil with gas.
Replace cap tightly.
Make sure all warning decals are
legible and securely attached.
Tread must have a minimum
height of 1/8" at center of tire. Prior
to operating vehicle, check and
adjust tire pressure as indicated on
the sidewall of each tire. A tire
)ressure gauge is required to
obtain accurate readings.
Replace tires iftread height is less than 1/8"
at center of tire. Add or remove air as
necessary to meet requirements indicated
on sidewall of each tire.
5. Drive Train Check condition and tension Lubricate, adjust tension as necessary.

Fasteners
8. Brush bars
Steering
10. Frame / Chassis
11. Battery
Check for smooth operation.
Ensure throttle 'snaps' back to idle.
Check for frayed or loose cable.
Check for mud, debris, and ice in
throttle mechanism
Check wheels to see that all axle
nuts are tightened securely.
Check for missing fasteners.
Check that all other fasteners are
secure.
Make sure all brush bars are in
)lace and securely attached.
Make sure steering turns freely
Check for proper 'toe-in' of wheels.
Check for bent or otherwise
damaged frame and/or other
chassis components.
Check that the connections are
tight and free of corrosion.
Check that the battery is secured
in place.
Check all guards covering moving
)arts.
12. Guards
Replace damaged cable.
Clean out any mud and debris. If ice is
)resent, move Fun-kart to a warm place and
allow the ice to melt and water to dry.
Tighten fasteners as necessary.
Replace fasteners as necessary
Replace damaged bars or fasteners and
tighten as necessary.
Lubricate and adjust as necessary.
Replace as necessary.
Clean / tighten as necessary.
Tighten fasteners on loose guards. Replace
worn or damaged guards.
