1. Push the sockets so that they
snap into the slots on the top
plate. Locate the 4 pre-wired
sockets from inside the housing.
Attach the sockets exactly as
shown using the colours of the
wires to reference the correct
location.
2. Unscrew the screw and star
washer on both ends. Insert the
socket panel as shown. Tighten
the screw and star washer to the
fixture.
3. Secure the two open screw
eyehooks (provided) to the ceiling
42 1/2" apart. Secure directly to a
joist or using toggle bolts (not
included). See diagram A.
4. Attach the mounting chains
(provided) to the open screw eye
hooks.
5. Attach the mounting chains
into the dual slots that are located
on top of the fixture housing.
Crimp the screw eye hooks closed
using pliers.
6. Level the fixture by adjusting
the length of the chain at the
open screw eye hooks. Crimp the
screw eye hooks closed using
pliers.
7. Install proper bulb type and
wattage (not included). Insert the
pins on both ends of the
fluorescent tube into the lamp
holders on both ends. Rotate the
tube until a slight "click" is felt.
Repeat for additional bulbs.
8. Plug cord into a grounded
120V, 60 Hz outlet.
9. When the ballast is replaced,
reverse the process from step 8, 2
and 1. Loosen the screw and nut
to remove the ballast and sockets
from fixture. After that repeat the
normal process from step 1, 2 and
8.
