Battery.
3. Using the carrying handles of the unit, carefully remove the
Expansion Battery from the box.
Grounding
WARNING
This product must be grounded. If it should malfunction or
breakdown, grounding provides a path of least resistance for
electric current to reduce the risk of electric shock. There are
ground terminals on the panel of this product. The ground
terminal must be connected to the ground reliably with a
ground conductor.
Surge Protection
Electronic devices, including computers and many programmable
appliances use components that are designed to operate within a
narrow voltage range and may be affected by momentary voltage
fluctuations. While there is no way to prevent voltage fluctuations,
you can take steps to protect sensitive electronic equipment.
Install UL1449, CSA-listed, plug-in surge suppressors on the
outlets feeding your sensitive equipment.
Surge suppressors come in single- or multi-outlet styles.
They’re designed to protect against virtually all short-duration
voltage fluctuations.
Operation at High Altitude
WARNING
Do not use at altitude above 1219 ft. (4000 m).
The density of air at higher altitudes is lower than at sea level.
The increase of higher altitudes causes the battery to ignite faster,
while the mass loss, heat release rate and total heat release for
batteries decrease at low pressure, thereby experiencing faster
internal battery arcing, and greater energy consumption with the
higher altitudes and thinner atmospheres.
