To Use the Dispenser
SelectCUBED,CRUSHEDor WATER.
Presstheglassgentlgagainstthetop
ofthedispensercradle.
Thespillshelfisnotself-draining.Toreducewater
spotting,theshelfanditsgrilleshouldbecleaned
regularlg.
Ifno water isdispensed when the refrigeratoris
firstinstalled,there mag be air inthe waterline
system. Pressthe dispenserarm forat least two
minutes to remove trapped airfrom the waterline
and to fillthe water s_jstem.Toflushoutimpurities
in the water line,throwawag the firstsixglassfuls
of water.
CAUTION:Neverput fingersorany other objects
into the icecrusherdischargeopening.
Locking the Dispenser
Pressthe LOCKor LOCK CONTROLS pad for
3seconds to lockthe dispenser and controlpanel.
Tounlock,pressand holdthe pad again for
3seconds.
Dispenser Light
TheLIGHTpadturnsthenight light in
thedispenseronandoff.Thelightalsocomeson
whenthe dispensercradleispressed.Onsome
models,ifthis lightburnsout,it shouldbereplaced
witha 6watt !2V maximumbulb.
Door Alurm
UseDoorAlarmto soundifeitherdoorisopen
formorethan 3minutes.Thealarmwillstop
oncethedoorisclosed.ForLCDmodels,a popup
screenwillappeaEThealarmcanbesilenced
bgtouchingthe LCDscreen.
LCDModels:
AccessBy:Home> Options>Informationand
Settings> Settings>DoorAlarm
AccessBy:PressingON.
Deactivate By:PressingOFF.
Non-LCDModels:
Press the SETFEATURESpad once and DOOR
ALARMwillblink.PressON/OFFandthedoor
alarmwillbesetandtheiconwillturnsolid.Press
ON/OFFagaintoturnthealarmoff.
Quick Ice
Whengouneedtospeedupiceproduction,use
theQuickIcefeature.Whilethisfeatureisturnedon,
thefreezerfanrunscontinuouslgfor48hours,or
untilthefeatureisturnedOFEDuringthisperiod,
iceproductionwillincreaseupto40%.Hodelswith
theintegratedicefeaturesgstemrequireatFIRST
USEatleasthalfan8oz.glassoficetobedispensed
everg6to 12hours.Thiswillhelptheicemakerfill

Thiswaterdispenserisequippedwith afeature
called"precisefill."Thisfeatureallowsgouto
choosea preciseamountofwater(cupsor
ounces)that gouwouldlikedispensed.Pints
andLitersarealsoavailableforLCDmodels.

Thedefaultis8 ounces.
Ifyou selectedCUPS,presstheA or V pad
toselecttheamountgouwouldliketo have
dispensed.Thegaredisplagedas1/4,1/3,1/2,2/3
and3/4,withthe highestamountbeing163/4
cups.Thedefaultis1cup.
Pressthecupagainstthecradleandwater
willbegindispensing.Itwillautomaticallgstop
whentheamountsethasbeendispensed.
Thedisplagwillshowtheamountofwater
dispensed,beep,thenresetafter5seconds.
NOTE:Donotleavethedispenserunattended
whenwaterisbeingdispensed.

If gouwouldliketostopdispensingwater
beforethespecifiedamounthasbeen
dispensed,just removethe cupfromthe
cradle.Thedisplagwillshowtheamountthat
hasbeendispensedfor Sseconds.Ifthecup
switchispressedagainwithinthat time,the
dispenserwillcontinueupto thesetamount.
If not,thedisplagwillreturntotheset
amount.
