To prevent accidental tipping of the range,
attach an approved AntioTip device to the
wall. (See &stalling the Anti-77p Device h_ tiffs
section.) To check if tile device is b)sta_ed
and engaged properly, carefully tip the rm]ge
forward. The AntioTip device should engage
and prevent tlle rmlge from tippblg over.
If you pull the range om from the wall for
any reason, make sure the ka_ti-Tip device
is engaged when you push the range back
against the wall.

LOCATION
Do not locate the range where it may be subject to strong
drafts. Any openings in the floor or wall behind the range
should be sealed. Make sure the openings arom_d the
base of the rmage that supply fresh air for combustion
mid ventilation are not obstructed by carpeting or
woodwork.

alul can settle into soft floor coverii]gs such as cushioned
vinyl or cml)eting. Lrse care when u]oving tile range
on this type of flooring. It is recolmneluled that tile
following silnple alul inexpensive instructioi]s be
fi)llowed to protect your flooI:
The range should be installed on a sheet _ff plywood
(or siufilar matelial). _4]/en the floor coveting elulS at
the front of the range, the area that the range will rest
on should be built up with plywood to tile sanle level or
higher than tile floor covering.
This will allow the range to be moved fi)r cleaning
or selvicing. _Mso, inake sure your floor covering will
withstalul 180°F, (See tile Installation Safety Instructions
section.)
Make sure tile wall coverings around your range can
withstalul tile heat generated (up to 200°F) 11_tile range
(See tile Installation Safety Instructions section.)
IMPORTANT!
Remove all tape and packaging. Make sure the burners
are properly seated and level.
Lift up the cooktop (on models with staa_dm'd twh_
burners) mad remove any packing material under it.
Take the accessory pack out of the oven aa_d/or th'awer.
Check to be sure that no range parts have come loose
during shipph_g.
