This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning
use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety. Children should
always be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
When using electrical appliances, basic precautions should always be followed
to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, injury to persons, and property loss.
These precautions include, but are not limited to, the following:
1. Please keep plastic bags and sheets out of the reach of children as they might be
mistakenly used for play. Packaging materials can become airtight chambers and
may pose a risk of suffocation if not disposed of properly.
2. Before using the humidifier, check the power cord for any signs of damage. If the
cord is found to be damaged, DO NOT USE and return the humidifier to the
manufacturer under the warranty agreement for repair.
3. To avoid fire or shock hazard, plug the appliance directly into a 120V AC electrical
outlet only.
4. Keep the cord out of heavy traffic areas, to avoid fire hazard. NEVER put the cord
under rugs or near heat registers.
