Show ing or H iding Ta bs
The [ Sca nner Properties] dialog box is displayed in default
wit h three basic t abs - Im age, Paper, and I nform at ion. To
show m ore tabs, click t he [ Scanner Pr ope rtie s] icon to access
m ore scan set tings.
To show m ore t abs,
1 . Click t he [ Sca nner Properties] icon (
) on the upper
left corner, and choose [ Ta b] to show available tab nam es.
The available tabs include Com pression, Color Drop out,
Preview, Rotat ion, Separat ion, Mult i- Feed, Options,
Set t ings, and I m printer. (Not e: the opt ions vary based on
scanner model.)
2 . Choose the t ab you want t o display. The select ed tab will
be shown wit h a check m ark and then displayed in the
[ Scanner Pr ope r t ie s] dialog box.
3 . To access t he set tings, click t he selected t ab on t he t op of
the [ Sca n ner Properties] dialog box. The page of t he
selected t ab will be displayed.
To hide a t ab window,
1 . Click t he [ Sca nner Propert ies] icon (
) on the upper
left corner, and choose [ Ta bs] t o show available t ab
nam es.
2 . Choose the tab you want t o hide. Then, t he select ed tab
will be hided in t he [ Sca nner Properties] dialog box.
Not e: The [ I m a ge] , [ Paper] , and [ I nfor m at ion] t ab can
not be hided since they preprogram m ed to be displayed by
default .
