KEYLESS PORCELAIN LAMP HOLDER
To Be Installed and/or Used in Accordance with Appropriate
Electrical Codes and Regulations.
Important: Following these instructions correctly will maintain the
polarity of a properly wired system. It will not correct an improperly
wired system.
Installation Instructions: Installation should be performed by a
qualied electrician.
1. Warning: Turn o power at the circuit breaker or fuse to avoid re, shock, and
death. Test that power is o before starting installation.
Warning: Use this device with only copper or copper clad wire. Only use
aluminum wire for devices marked CO/ALR.
2. For 3-1/4” standard outlet box mounting, carefully remove knockouts on base
of porcelain (not necessary when mounting on 4” box).
DO NOT BREAK SOCKET.
3. Inspect circuit wires. If frayed or uneven, cut o damaged ends. Remove
insulation from ¾” of the copper wire.
4. Loop the wires clockwise and tighten each terminal screw with a screwdriver,
connecting the wires as follows:
Black (Hot) wire to the Brass screw terminal.
White (Neutral) wire to the Silver screw terminal.
5. Mount porcelain base on outlet box. Install light bulb.
6. Restore power at circuit breaker or fuse.
Installation is complete.
One Year Limited Warranty
The manufacturer warrants that the parts of this product will be free from defects
in material and workmanship under normal household use for the length of the
one-year warranty.
This warranty covers the original purchaser with original receipt only and does
not include business, commerical or industrial use of this product. This warranty
shall not apply to goods which have been subject to accidents, negligence or
improper installation. Our responsibility under this warranty is limited only to
the replacement of parts and no other costs. Should a malfunction occur within
the time covered by this warranty, replacement parts may be obtained from the
Customer Service Department 1-800-636-3525 or email warranty@cmiproduct.
com. The manufacturer will, at its discretion, provide replacement parts for
installation by the consumer for any parts that prove defective under normal usage
and care with new or equivalent parts.
