CheckingOil Level
Oil level should be checked prior to each use or at least every
8 hours of operation. Keepoil level maintained.
1. Make sure pressure washer is on a level surface.
2. Remove oil dipstick and wipe dipstick with clean cloth.
Replaceand tighten dipstick. Remove and and check oil
level.
3. Verify oil is at "Fulr' mark on dipstick. Replaceand
tighten dipstick.

Adding Engine 0il
1. Make sure pressure washer is on a level surface.
2. Check oil level as described in Checking OilLevel
3. if needed,slowly pour oil into oil fill opening to the
"Full" mark on dipstick. DO NOToverfill.
NOTICE'.Overfilling with oil may cause the engine to not
start, or hard starting.
DO NOToverfill.
if over the FULL mark on dipstick, drain oil to reduce oil level to
FULL mark on dipstick.
4. Tip your pressure washer to drain oil from oil fill into a
suitable container making sure you tip your unit away
from spark plug. When crankcaseis empty, return
pressurewasher to upright position.
5. Slowly pour recommended oil (about 18 oz.) into oil fill
opening. Pauseto permit oil to settle. Fill to "Full" mark
on dipstick.
6. Wipe dipstick clean each time oil level is checked. DO
NOToverfill.
7. Replaceand tighten dipstick.
8. Wipe up any remaining oil.
9. Reconnectspark plug wire to spark plug.
ServiceAir Cleaner
Your engine will not run properly and may be damaged if you
run it with a dirty air cleaner. Service more often if operating
under dirty or dusty conditions. Replacementsare available
at your local Sears service center.
To service the air cleaner, follow these steps:
1. Loosen screw (A) and tilt cover (B) down.
4. Replaceand tighten dipstick.
ChangingEngineOil
if you are using your pressurewasher under extremely dirty
or dusty conditions, or in extremely hot weather, change oil
more often.
A CAUTION:Avoid prolonged or repeatedskin contact
with used motor oil.

Changeoil while engine is stiff warm from running,as
follows:
1. Drain fuel tank by running pressure washer until fuel
tank is empty.
2. Disconnect spark plug wire and keep it away from spark
plug.
3. Cleanarea around oil fill, remove oil fill cap/dipstick.
Wipe dipstick clean.
2. Carefully remove cartridge (6) assembly.
3. To clean cartridge, gently tap pleated paper side on a fiat
surface.
4. Reinstall clean or new cartridge assembly inside cover.
5. insert cover's tabs (B) into slots in bottom of base (E).
6. Tilt cover up and tighten screw securely to base.

ServiceSpark Plug
Changingthe spark plug will help your engine to start easier
and run better.
1. Cleanarea around spark plug.
2. Removeand inspect spark plug.
3. Replacespark plug if electrodes are pitted, burned or
porcelain is cracked. Usethe recommended replacement
plug. See Specifications.
